For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself." The books of John, Numbers, Timothy, Psalm, Amos, Hebrews, Romans, Corinthians, Thessalonians, Matthew, Colossians also contain Biblical interjections giving due emphasis for the promotion and the facilitation in the mission trips.

One can start to head a committee for the Recycling program. Be a team leader and try to gather support from the church members. Run an information campaign and keep the church members informed about the cause of the program. When you are able to explain your plan and purpose, the better it is to get more tangible support from the members.

Be consistent in segregating your trash. Before you go to someone else's home, check the trash in your own homes. You have to know what to throw and not to like newspapers, office paper, shoes boxes, cardboard boxes, plastic bottles and aluminum cans.

Part 1 - The Wonder of Sandalwood

By Vance Fallin

The refreshing scent of sandalwood has been a part of Asian cultures for centuries, and is used in a multitude of ways in the modern age as well. From cosmetics to aromatherapy, from medicine to technology, and in some aboriginal cultures the seeds of sandalwood plants are even used as a food source. Let's take a brief look at the differences between the two varieties of sandalwood, its many uses and how to tell the difference between the real thing and fabricated sandalwood.

Botany

The name 'sandalwood' is actually the name of a class of fragrant wood trees that are parasitic, meaning they feed on other trees in order to survive. The two most common members of the sandalwood group are Indian sandalwood and Australian sandalwood, but there are others grown in Hawaii, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. Indian sandalwood is endemic to South India, mostly growing in the mountains of the region. In the past this has been the most over harvested and threatened class of sandalwood. However the Indian government is working towards protecting the trees, as they have now taken ownership of all sandalwood trees in the country.

Hawaiian sandalwood was first encountered by Europeans at the end of the 18th century. It was considered of very high quality and harvested in massive quantities. Inevitably that led to near destruction of the species and by 1825 Hawaiian sandalwood was extremely rare. Today the trees have begun to emerge again, but reaching their former abundance is a long way off. Australian sandalwood is the variety most used for aromatherapy and cosmetic purposes today. The single biggest difference between Australian sandalwoods and those of other regions is the concentration. Far more oil can be extracted from Australian sandalwood, which means the volume of harvest is reduced.

Harvest and Production

Sandal saplings take about fourteen years to reach full wood maturity. The wood of a sandalwood tree is heavy for the size, but has a fine grain that is well suited to decorative wood carving. A sandalwood tree is fragrant before it is harvested, but explodes with perfume once cut. Every single inch of the tree emits a scent, therefore harvesting involves pulling the entire sandalwood tree from the ground instead of just cutting it down. Both the wood itself and the oils extracted from the tree emit the iconic scent, but it is the wood that retains its fragrance for up to fifty years.

Religious Use

Sandalwood is regularly used in religious rituals in Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Shinto, Confucianism, and Taoism. Through the use of scent, it is believed a greater level of spiritual consciousness can be achieved. Those who practice Hindu use sandalwood paste in ceremonial rituals and to mark important religious instruments. Religious icons are also decorated with sandalwood paste as mark of protection and reverence. In fact, sandalwood is held in such high esteem in Hinduism that only priests may prepare the paste in a temple and during the appropriate ceremony. Buddhists believe sandalwood heightens one's senses during meditation and brings them closer to Amitabha Buddha.

The presence of sandalwood oils, paste and incense in religious rituals is perhaps the most ancient of all its uses. And in reality, the woody fragrance can certainly invoke thoughts of relaxing meditative hours in the peacefulness of a far off forest. What better place to entertain such visions of leisure than nestled in your own home? Stay tuned for the next article in this series as we explore the usefulness of sandalwood oil in medical technology, and how to find good sandalwood soap that contains the real oils and not a knock-off product.

The Ways of Orisha

By Tim Beachum

Do you sense that something's missing in your life? Are you looking for answers in the right places?

Here's the reality. Without a robust religious base you can feel empty and you will roam forever.

It doesn't have to be this way...

Though the main line media won't tell you this, many millions of people from different races and cultural backgrounds are finding out that the spiritual customs of Africa have a load to give.

The most well-liked African spirituality system can be followed back to the Yorubas of Southwest Nigeria, who students say are the creators of one of the premier cultures of the Earth.

"At a time between the tenth and twelfth centuries, when nothing of comparable quality was being produced in Europe, the master sculptors of Ile-Ife were shaping superb art. Like custom Greece, Yorubaland consisted mainly of self-sufficient city-state characterized by inventive and poetic richness," claims historian Robert Farris Thompson, in the book, Flash of the Spirit.

The religion of the Yorubas, known as Ifa, is also very rich and deep. Ifa is called the antediluvian sapience because it's much older than both the Western and Eastern organized religion. Others call Ifa the foremost science. It really is a really complicated spiritual system that encompass poetry, history, medicine, maths, divination, dance, science, literature, ethics, metaphysics and more.

Because Ifa is so huge, one Yoruba proverb asserts, "Ifa covers everything."

Reverence for nature and the predecessors are core values in Ifa. "We never start from the foundation that we are higher than the remainder of creation," says Yoruba scholar, Wande Abimbola, one of the premier authorities on Ifa worldwide. "We bow down to trees, rivers, hills and mountains."

"Birds, animals, trees, and the dwellers of the sea aren't only our kin but our teachers and spiritual guides as well," says James Weeks, producer of Across The King's Brook, a upcoming documentary feature film that explores the linkages between African spiritual traditions and science.

The Yorubas believe strongly in a ultimate God is considered the force responsible for all phenomena in our universe. The ancients called this being Olodumare, that means "the owner of all destinies."

And the orishas are deities that represent different facets of Olodumare. Each orisha is associated with a force of nature as well as a express number and rules a particular area of the body. Through their steering, humanity becomes one with nature and the divine.

The orisa Esu or Ellegua, is known as the owner of the crossroads and is associated with the number 3. Esu is a dynamic messenger between humankind and the orishas and his colours are black and red. "Ellegua teaches us that we have to look at every side of the story in order to make a good decision. He reminds us the plain is not invariably the proper answer. He shows us there is far more to gain if we stop, think, and reflect before taking an action," says scholar Marta Moreno Vega, in the book, The Altar of My Soul: The Living Customs of Santeria.

Orunmila is the orisha of knowledge. In Ifa, it is assumed that Orumila experienced the creation of the universe and has intimate knowledge of past, present and future. Monks of Orunmila are called babalawos, meaning the "father of the mysteries." Babalawos are predicted to dedicate their lives studying the art of divination and herbal medicine. Orunmila's colors are yellow and green, and he's associated with the number 16.

Rosewater for the Body and Mind

By Vance Fallin

The scent of roses has been treasured for its gentle qualities for centuries by cultures all over the globe. Both the fragrance and use as a medicinal aid gave roses a high regard in ancient societies. For example, in ancient Greece and Rome rose gardens were as fiercely protected as the orchards and wheat fields. Muslims and Zoroastrians preferred to use rose perfume along with sandalwood paste for ceremonial purposes. Generally, rosewater is for use on the body either for medical reasons or for the complexion, rose syrup is used in foods, or rose oil is used in cosmetics. Let's look briefly at the many uses of rosewater and how it is made.

The first step in making a rose based product is boiling rose petals. The oils resulting from the distillation process are used in perfume, food flavoring, cosmetics, and religious purposes. Rose oil is too concentrated to use without some sort of carrier, such as a neutral essential oil. The distillate (condensation) that developed from the distillation process is rosewater. The scent is just as heady, but the composition is lighter and therefore more useful for particular applications. Another way of creating both rose oil and rosewater was developed in Persia and Bulgaria, but the only difference between it and the above method is the crushed petals of roses are mixed with essential oils prior to distillation, instead of after.

Rosewater and rose syrup is widely used in cuisine all over the world. The French are well known for their rose syrups, particularly in petits fours, marzipan, marshmallows, baking and beverages. Iranian foods use rose syrup and rose water quite frequently, such as in baklava, tea, ice cream, almond nougat and "Turkish Delight". In many Middle Eastern nations, such as Lebanon, Israel and Jordan, rosewater is added to lemonade. American president James Monroe had a fondness for Waverly Jumbles cookies, which were heavily doused with rosewater.

Rosewater has long been used for the body as well. On its own, rosewater can be used for treating acne, combination skin, red spots and general uneven skin tone. Combined with a good neutral moisturizer, it can work wonders on the skin! Even in India it is very common for people to spray their face with rosewater for relief from the dry air and it can be used as eyewash to help clear redness or foreign material. Even those with oily skin can benefit from soap and moisturizer with rosewater, as it is does not sit on top of the skin causing blemishes.

In addition to the bodily benefits of rosewater, there are the soothing advantages of the exquisite fragrance. What is it about that aroma that is timeless? Like other natural scents, such as sandalwood and lavender, rosewater promotes a relaxed state of mind. Just standing in the shower with a lovely bar or rosewater soap helps start the day out right, with a calm state of mind and a positive outlook. Many people even use diluted rosewater when ironing bed linens, as the scent helps one to get a better sleep. There are so many uses for rosewater, rose syrup and rose oil! Try them all and see just how much more enjoyable the small daily tasks are!

When The Kingdom of Israel Was Split Into Two

By Jim Staley

The kingdom of Israel was split into two kingdoms, your northern kingdom which was called the House of Israel and the southern kingdom which was known as the House of Judah. The northern kingdom continuously disobeyed God and so the Father allowed them to take place captive by Assyria. Then a House of Judah in addition played the harlot in 586 B.C. and for Seventy years was removed into Babylon. But following 70 years what actually transpired? Most of the House involving Judah begun to come back and they rebuilt Jerusalem.

So divided they fall when they are allowed to come back, the majority of Judah came back from Babylon however the Northern House regarding Israel never came back! These were assimilated into the nations around the world, they were taken attentive by Assyria and they had been pushed to all four corners of the and then known world which eventually be all four corners of the earth today. They never came back.

The key reason why we even have the Jewish consumers is because the southeast kingdom came back! When they would not have come back out of captivity, we would not take the time learning about the Sabbath day or the true meaning of easter. We all wouldn't even have a bible to be investigating without them coming back. All the other tribes, they do not exist these days because they never returned.

How many tribes were on the base of Mt Sinai if the commandments are given? 12! But only literally home of Judah exists today. This is why Israel is connected to the Jewish individuals and we are not educated to read the front of the book which is not bad but just the facts associated with life. We presumed that the bible was created to the Jews and the New Testament ended up being written to Followers.

That is the assumption, that is not what the bible claims. The bible says it was written to all involving Israel; only 10 tribes would not come back. So the Ten tribes were taken into captivity and were paid all across Assyria and overtime were assimilated into the nations and became precisely what the prophecy said regarding Ephriam, Melo Ha' Goyim', the fullness involving nations, they grew to become as gentiles.

Who Are The Sheep?

By Jim Staley

Deut 30:4-6 says this...

4 If any of you have been driven out to the furthest parts of heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there he will bring you: 5 And the LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; he will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. 6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.'

We have to recognize that this is the one hundred year He is talking about, before the Messiah comes back. That prophesied that we would come returning to the covenant and then and only then he would take us all to the land because he is right, spotless, along with pure. He is not going for a spotted bride time for His chambers, he has to purify us 1st, that is why they invested 40 years in the dessert.

They did not just go walking right and walk into the promise terrain. They have left Egypt nonetheless they still have a lot of Egypt in them. It is time to the Father to explain to everyone of us that we nevertheless got a lot of Egypt within us and it is time for you to get it out. So let me ask a Question, has this happened yet? The northern kingdom involving Israel, the fullness with the nations, the millions and millions of people, has He brought them back towards the land yet?

It is not happened, so it must be a future celebration. By New Testament times, a lot of the northern kingdom understood which tribe we were holding from and existed across to the water of Euphrates according to Josephus. They will knew they were was around in the land. In the New Testament times when Rabbi Joshua was going for walks and teaching, there is a tribe of Judah, the actual Jewish people of that moment that controlled the particular covenant and you have all of the out of covenant Upper Israelites that were not allowed to become part of the covenant. Yet over the past 2000 decades, they would completely get rid of their identity because "House of Israel", totally satisfying the prophecy. Each of our Messiah is trying to gather all his lost sheep and is trying to deliver them home. This is all He does, everyday. This begs the question, who are the sheep?

Prophetic Stories in the Old Testament

By Jim Staley

You should understand that your Israelites started out in Canaan. After that what happened? Where does they go? They went along to Egypt. Then, where do they end up? They found themselves going back to Canaan. Think prophetically, you need to look, have your vision and your ears consistently keen to the testimonies that are found in the bible.

As a Christian growing up in my local congregation I was always trained that the Old Testament just by mere nature is old and the New Testament by the fact we have been using that terminology is new. So as a young boy who wants everything brand-new and fast, this planted in my mind how the Old Testament doesn't have any value. When i begin to read while watching book I commence to discover that every single account that s based in the bible is about me and also my Messiah and when He or she comes back. I just should listen and I should hear.

The story saying that Israelites started out within Canaan is the same story that they can started out in the Yard of Eden. Then what actually transpired when enemy came up, snatch them way up put them in bondage, made them their slave so much until finally they cried in the market to their God and in a certain point in that future that they literally were removed from Egypt and taken to the promise land again.

Many of us started out in the yard, we started out throughout Canaan the promise land, the enemy were only available in snatch us absent, we have been in Egypt for 6,000 years yet at some point very soon I believe the Messiah is going to revisit, Joshua the same Joshua that brought them in the assure land so many years back will lead us yet again into the promise land. Everything is prophetic and as all of us go through this article I think you are going to see the accurate meaning of easter and more.

The most significant prediction that has been given in the particular scripture is not about when the Messiah comes back, which is very popular and complete thing . to talk about that nevertheless there are things that transpired that bring about the Messiah's return. Just like if you have a wedding ceremony, you'll find things that come about when you have that rehearsal dinner, you know it's the next day.

The Most Important Prophecy in the Bible

By Jim Staley

The most significant prophecy that's been given in the scripture is not about in the event the Messiah comes back, that is popular and everybody wants to speak about that but you will find things that happened that bring about the Messiah's go back. Just like when you have being married ceremony, there are items that come about when you have which rehearsal dinner, you know it's the next day.

We are going to learn very shortly with the true Sabbath day; itrrrs this that I am talking about. Deut 28:15 says this, "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all his commandments and his statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: Now remember, they are standing before the Jordan River, just getting ready to cross over into the promise land. What a great pep talk?! God say, "by the way, you disobey me, you die. Now you all have a good time. I'll part the water for you one more time."

Deut 28:64 says"And the LORD shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known, even wood and stone". He continues...Deut 29:1 "These are the words of the covenant, which Yahweh commanded Moses to make the sons of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.(Mt. Sinais)

So basically, this individual gives the covenant within Mt. Sinai, this is the next generation. This is the original X generation if you will, here is the new generation. Their own parents have seen all these miraculous issues happened and the next thing you know Yahweh says you are next generation, you were not necessarily there on the other hand am going to reiterate the text of the covenant together with the covenant i gave your fathers, I'm going to put this covenant in your panel and if you do not pay attention to me, I will make you taken onto captivity and that i will scatter you out of trouble through out all of the World.

Now, you would think that they can actually heave his call but they don't. Verse 14: Neither with you do I only make this covenant and this oath, Verse15: but with him who stands here with us today before Yahweh or God and also with him who is not here with us this day. What does that mean? Which means that not only for the bodily people that are in this specific room but every single person that comes after you from generations to age group for generations to come up to until the Messiah comes back, I will be speaking to them. Observe, Yahweh does not only talk to one group of people because he is up there and we are a ping pong soccer ball. So when he speaks, it revolves around the earth. He speaks to us, for all generations his outside of time. Amen?

Happy Easter! What Does It Really Mean?

By Jim Staley

This article will tackle some time of the kings inside bible. So the Israelites take back the land of Canaan and they want a king. Have been they supposed to possess a king? Absolutely not! Along emerged Saul, then David, next Solomon. They are the three best kings of all of Israel which everybody is familiar with, even a small child know which they were. Under these types of three kings, all 12 tribes were dominated. This is critical to understand. All 12 tribes have been called Israel.

That is until finally Solomon blew it. I Kings 11:31 "And he said to Jeroboam (servant of Solomon), "Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Behold, I am about to tear the kingdom from the hand of Solomon and will give you ten tribes." This is the first indication of a thing incredibly prophetic that is going to connect back to the good thing that was split. Here is the moment. Do you remember that you have a cloth that was split and it was ripped into 12 items but 10 went to the servant involving Solomon. It was suppose to visit his son.

So 10 tribes, this is destined to be important so why would he split it? (verse 33) "because they have forsaken me and worshipped ashtoreth, the goddess of the sidonians... and have not walked in my ways to do what is right in my eyes and keep my statues and my judgments, as did his father david. you can easily relate to it as i am sure that at some point in your life, you as a son looked up to your dad on the ground most likely on your back and he said "son, if you want to live in my house, you are going to play by my rules".

It is like that with our own relationships and it is the same way with Yahweh and he said "Sons if you are not going to play by My rules, you are out of My house". Therefore he began to tear away the kingdom from Solomon, he gave 10 tribes to his servant Jeraboem.

What we have the following is an incredible verse saying that "because they worship Ashtoreth, now I didn't know what and that Ashtoreth was as I would have been a believer in my local members growing up. But things i learned as I investigated that, there are most kind of names Ashtarte of the Greeks, Ashtor and Ishtar, and in British it is actually pronounced Easter time. Some of you perhaps shock to know that but Easter will be the bear breasted fertility goddess of the east, the sun god's Bails partner which should change your entire thought process when you say Happy Easter! It is not so happy via His perspective simply because we don't even know what we are saying. Now you know the real meaning of Easter (http://passionfortruth.com) .

About the Author:
I'm Jim Staley Mo (http://youtu.be/BTx5tjNQEvw) . It is my heart's desire that you will be challenged and transformed through the materials and resources that are in this article. Whether its about Jewish holidays, the sabbath day, or the meaning of Easter, we want you to know the truth because the truth will only do one thing!

Some Advice On Spiritual Meetings For You To Consider

By Berta Simon

For most of us, spiritual meetings (http://www.thepyramidcenter.org/contact.html) are a standard phenomenon. We have got five feelings that aid us to get mostly everything these days. Apart from these five feelings, we likewise have a brain and a great intellect. Just as the gross feelings, we likewise have a better sense, a refined mind plus a subtle mind, which aids us to know the planet beyond the particular gross.

We may smell a lot of roses and probably, experience the actual smell from the roses. Unless hindered by a blocked nasal area. This is really a gross experience because the source of such fragrance is actually identifiable.

Now look at a person sampling her early coffee, and also planning for the day. The lady suddenly draws an aroma of sandalwood. Although planning to trace the foundation of the particular fragrance, she struggles to find any.

The woman may at first dismiss this as absolutely nothing serious. Nevertheless, when this remains along with her during the day, she will be alert to it. After requesting around as well as finding nobody else is actually noticing this, this will get perplexed. This could be taken as example of quality experiences.

Independent of the sense regarding smell, the identical finer feelings may be felt from the other several senses at the same time. Such happenings may be common with all the sense regarding touch, hearings, taste and also vision, same as smell. The added perception which could be found to most of us is called extra physical perception.

Phenomenon of this type is very common. Nevertheless, our regular faculties may be unable to explain the main reason. It is actually explained as working from the sixth feeling. These would be the happenings that people can really feel through the normal ability, but not explain exactly how or the reason why these occur. All of us cannot clarify these spiritual meetings.

Some Advice On Spiritual Nexus For You To Consider

By Berta Simon

Spiritual nexus could be observed with automated writing. This can be a process which allows the greater self to make use of the equip and hands when inside a different condition of awareness. You can write answers for your questions. Anybody can perform this with some practice. For any spiritual trip, this is a great source associated with information. Prior to starting, one ought to know who one really wants to be along with.

All your own questions might not be told in one session. Occasionally, none of the questions is going to be answered, as these people feel some thing more important will be told. Most of us have helpful spirits who are selected prior to birth and she or he stays around till death. This particular guide will be the higher personal.

Possibly multiple guides will be introduced. They can explain who they may be and why they may be present. Any time, all could well write within a session. At times, only the more dominant spirit alone could possibly be present.

Start with drawing gentle circles on the paper. If there are thoughts in the head, these could be written down. Many people start this way, until the higher self takes use of the arm and starts to write. Even if this feels silly in the beginning, most people do not know what is being written.

Read the notes the next day. Now there is full awareness, so more meaning can be made out. Sometimes the guide is really powerful. He or she may do a lot of writing and the arm can get quite tired in the process.

In first, using any notebook would be distracting because of turning pages. Use single sheets as paper. Anoint the pages beforehand. Any time writing, simply chuck these aside to begin with on a fresh sheet. Afterwards, the spiritual nexus (http://www.thepyramidcenter.org) sheets could possibly be combined with the page numbering.

Producer, James Weeks, says one of the goals of the film is to evoke others to follow their visions.

Weeks had no idea that he would one day embrace African healing traditions but finally changed into a worshipper after a dynamic shaman guided his family overcome a collection of life and death challenges.

In Across the King's Stream, Weeks takes Tulani, his daughter, to meet Aseda, the Yoruba shaman that he credits for saving his life and keeping his family together. The old man also initiates Tulani as a priestess of Osun, the orisa, or divine spirit of love and fertility.

Aseda, James ' spiritual father, is among the 16 major diviners of Ifa, a swiftly growing religion with more than 100 million practitioners internationally. The philosophy originated among the Yorubas of Southwest Nigeria and predates Christianity by over 10,000 years.

African healers often diagnose and treat medical situations long before their Western peers can even detect them. They are also helping Weeks ward off diabetes, Aseda's non secular abilities also helped deter Weeks ' oldest son from a life of crime.

"The healers in the movie are keepers of a huge body of information and have important messages to share with the world," Weeks expressed. The journey takes Weeks and Tulani deep into III African civilizations: the Dagara of Burkina Faso, the Lebu of Senegal and the Yorubas of Southwest Nigeria.

Across the King's Brook also has scholar, Christopher Brown, a disciple of the late Doctor. Afolabi Epega, a world-renowned authority on Ifa. Like his mentor, Epega, Brown is on a mission to show the connection between science and spirituality.

Brown is an instituted Ifa priest and holds degrees in arithmetic and computer science. He once worked as a software engineer for The United Space Alliance and believes that science is nothing less than spirituality in disguise.

Across the King's River will be directed by Emmy Award winning filmmaker Stanley Nelson and goes into production in spring 2012. The title of the film comes from a Yoruba axiom that is frequently used when one has something tricky to do or say.

"The proverb suggests that a higher force has sent you on a mission that must definitely be satisfied at any price - no excuses and no going back. It's more than a proverb. It?s a way of life" Weeks explains.

A Really Good Sermon makes a Great Improvement

By Beatrice Harmon

We attend church weekly to hear some good news in the bible. For me personally, I'd like this kind of activity to be very encouraging and interesting. I just like a sermon to be powerful which it enables you to shout - those that our grandparents discussed. I thought initially that they will no longer exist, however they still do and allow me to inform you the place you can discover excellent preachers just as that.

As old books are the best to read, old wines to drink... old style sermon can also be the ideal to listen to. In the south where I live, great traditional style of preaching is still around. Only that you just have got to look hard to search out a good church such as that. What I did is that I searched for a church which has something that I enjoy - a choir. A choir is significant in my opinion because I desired to be involved in the choir. I don't plan to be simply a mere spectator or listener. So if you are wanting for some traditional Baptist sermons, then you must keep seeking and visiting churches that are Baptist for they stick to the KJV bible. You can have a very good chance to find that classic preaching in the event you visit independent baptist church.

The bible is definitely the word of God and then in the independent baptist church, God's word is kept. It just isn't changed simply because it is popular to some number of members. The church is definitely the temple of God but it should not be just like the world. The church have to be different. It should be strong and stand firm on the word of God as how it's written in the bible. It must not easily sway towards wherever the wind is blowing.

Moreover, we shouldn't take notice of music from the world or put ourselves in places where will make God look bad. In the independent baptist church, the tunes you can hear is usually southern gospel or bluegrass gospel music. Like I said, we choose the old ways and as soon as you pay attention to the good old baptist sermon, you will certainly desire to go back. God is not going to change therefore we should not change simply because the younger people don't love it. The young folks really need to understand it is about God. We don't pay a visit to church to be entertained or hear a Christian rock concert.

To me listening to the word of God turns into a way of living to live for the Lord that is great. Keeping the word of God as how it is printed in the bible provides me with inner peace and that I got engrossed in paying attention to what exactly is truly written.

The Truth about Replacement Theology

By Jim Staley

Replacement theology starts on the premise that the Jews are the chosen people yet again the church or Christians are the chosen people, that entire premise may be turned on its head, hopefully you will see that through this article that Israel is 12 tribes. I like to give an analogy of a football team is that everyone is invited to be on the football team but he chose captains from the team to go out and recruit the remainder of the world.

The captains from the team, there were 12 captains from your 12 tribes of Israel so Israel called to go out to recruit the rest of the world in the future in and be a part of the covenant. So replacement theology is not to do with us replacing the Jewish people are simply the southern kingdom.

Their eyes based on Romans chapter 11, their hearts were harden and they were blinded to the gospel so as long because the rest of the Ephramites, the northern kingdom, what we call the fullness with the gentiles would come into the covenant and so as we come back to the covenant. The blindness that stumbled on Judah will be lifted and they will become jealous.

What do I do now that I k now that I am a Hebrew? So when you begin to realize why you have such a powerful surge inside your heart for Israel and the Jewish people happens because you are the northern brother, you're brothers. What do you do now that you understand that you are a Hebrew?

Well first of all the word Hebrew means, crossed over. People ask me constantly, how does this apply to my well being, what does that mean?

Well if we are Israel my buddies, then we are subject to the covenants of promise as Paul says. We're the one new man which is beginning to happen on Sabbath day (http://passionfortruth.com/TheTrueMeaningOfChristmasAndEaster.html) which means that we have a responsibility that we know who we're. We have a mission and a calling to provide the living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob wonderful our heart, soul, mind, and strength and also to do so His way.

So I would encourage each and every one individuals to begin to learn the covenant, what's this covenant that our ancient ancestors kept that's called the Torah and how does it work? Is it relevant for today? Exactly how should we as believers in Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah, bring any Jewish person to jealousy what so ever every time that we are going out and breaking the Sabbath.

Defining the Terms in the Bible

By Jim Staley

If we don't define ab muscles words of our scriptures, like our ancestors were written, we are going to redefine them. Robert would be rolling over to be able to his grave with a few of the definitions we might have given these kinds of words. We need to establish the bible the way it has been written.

How many observe that there are two things that didn't exist in the 1st century? The first century cathedral as it is today, the Christian church and the New Testament. What that means is the place Paul says throughout Timothy that all scriptures have been given for rebuking, encouraging, doctoring, as well as walking in the strategies to righteousness. The word "all scriptures" there can not mean the New Testament. In my opinion in the New Testament scripture that is not what he or she was talking to. He was referring to the Old Testament, what he referred to as the Hebrew Scriptures or just the scriptures.

The significance that they put on the Old Testament is off the charts. It is the only expression of God that was around. So if we are going to outline any bible words, do you know what, you are going to get rid of the New Testament if you'll and define the idea by the only book that exist at that time that was their Hebrew Scriptures.

So we are going to find out what the word lamb means by doing just that. We are going to go back to their dictionary, the Old Testament here is what it says, however we are going to talk about a couple of New Testament verses before we comeback and establish it.

John 10:3 says this, "The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by his name and leads them out."

John 10:4 "When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice." We have all heard these verses and then a few verses later it says,

John 10:7 "Therefore Jesus said again, " I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep." So if that's the case that we need to know, then who were the sheep? Because he is the gate for them as we continue, we will find out the answer to that along with where did the Sabbath day (http://passionfortruth.com) came from.

Back in Jeremiah 50:17 "Israel is like scattered sheep, the lions have driven Him away."

The Time For Auditing

By Jim Staley

Deut 29:14, "Neither with you do I only make this covenant and this oath", verse 15 "but with him who stands here with us today before Yahweh or God and also with him who is not here with us this day". What does that mean? This means that not merely for the physical individuals who are in this area but every single person that comes after you from generations to generation for generations to come all the way to before the Messiah comes back, I am speaking with them.

See, Yahweh won't only speak to one group of people because he comes to an end there and we are a ping pong ball. While he speaks, that revolves around the earth. This individual speaks to us, for all generations his beyond time. As we move through this article, you will know the actual meaning of Easter (http://passionfortruth.com) .

Sometimes we realize that the hardest situation in the world is to be audited. Many of us keep receipts nevertheless we have to admit which no one likes a great audit. But watch and especially corporations, exam themselves every single year. They will have people in the catering company that make sure is proper order and everything is working like it was supposed to. Contrary needs to change, they will change it. But arrive at think of it, when was the past time, us while Christians, as non secular people all across our planet, that religious men and women audit themselves?

Now when was the last time that your denomination, if you were inside of the denomination today, when was the very last time that you acquired a memo from the us president of your organization declaring we are taking the next three months, we are auditing that we do and precisely what we believe to make sure we are really not offending the Great God. Isn't that strange?

We don't need to offend the IRS along with the government, we don't even want to offend our own neighbor but all of us don't even think twice about offending the Great God regarding Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is time for an audit. It is time for us to take a look of what consider and make sure it is absolutely true. There is nothing completely wrong with doing in which right?

Baptist Churches Everywhere Can Grant All of us Spiritual Refuge

By Barbara Lopez

Baptist churches have been growing in multitude anywhere in the face of the earth where Christians seek to grow in their spiritual lives. Baptists dates back in the 17th century when the first pastor, English Separatist John Smyth has rebuffed the initiation of infants into the Christian world. He was for the idea that once a person subjects themselves into believing baptism can be instituted with them. Worshipping God is essential to dynamic individuals thus Baptist groups are formed. The groups have maintained carrying out their missions and responsibly expressing their dogma without being hindered by other church groups or canonical laws that may restrict them.

Every continent has their share of massive numbers of Baptist groups. Comprising the fifth biggest Christian ministry around the world there are about 50 million members from various spots around the globe. And Lexington in Kentucky, USA, even though only a portion of the nation, is not an exemption. It would be quite an experience to become a part of the Baptist churches Lexington has to offer. There are several variety of Baptist churches around especially within the area of the New Circle Road.

When we say Baptist, these are the people who firmly believe that the immersion of oneself in water as the act of baptism is taken on by individuals who have matured spiritually to comprehend the importance of the act. Baptists steadfastly have faith in the wisdom that the Holy Bible offers.

Only in thinking as well as accepting Jesus Christ is one able to be rescued, an additional basic principle that Baptists adhere to. The Holy Scriptures may be the grounds for dwelling the right existence that's been set for all of us by the Almighty Father. The Holy bible ought to be our leading basic principle to accept the route of values as well as rights. There might be variants in methods as well as values in between churches; nevertheless it all boils down to putting the Holy Scriptures as being the guideline in issues of commitment.

Independent fundamental Baptist holds conservative Baptist belief. They have taken their own belief into powerful or excessive conformity to laws such as acknowledging the King James Version of the Holy bible to become the sole authority in the scriptures, suppressing delight in pop culture such as music, adhering to rigid dress requirements, prohibition from going into movie theaters, refutation to science, as well as firm loyalty towards the pastor, among additional traits. These may impede the spiritual growth of an individual however if you totally acknowledge the importance of the belief and believing inside it, you'll be able to achieve spiritual maturity.

The Importance of Knowing What the Problem Is

By Jim Staley

I am excited about this topic that I'm going to be talking about here in this article. First of all, I would like you determine if you ever have gone through your life and you can pin point in your life a defining moment where your life changed. You can absolutely remember the time, the day, you could smell the fragrance in the air, you know what you're wearing, you know who you're talking to but at that moment, your life changed and you can look back, how many have had those moments in your life where you remember that.

Can I suggest to you that if you've never known about what I'm getting ready to tell you in this article, what I'm getting ready to put in your lap, if you have never heard a message on identity crisis, Sabbath day, the meaning of Easter, and the so-called Jewish Holidays, this moment could be the defining moment that will change your life. Let me put this in front of you through this article, this was my defining moment, this was the moment that Jim Staley's life changed when I begin to find out who I am.

Do you know that 77% of all college students that claim the name of the Messiah, also 77% deny the Messiah by the end of their freshmen year in college? Exactly 70 some odd percent denied the Messiah by the end of their year of freshman. But what's worse than that is of the remaining 23%, 95% of the remaining Christians cannot tell you for sure if they died, that they would literally spend eternal life with Father. That remains very few of our young people, the next generation what they call generation X and generation Y that don't even know not just their Messiah but what their bible says about the Sabbath day (http://passionfortruth.com) and their own salvation.

How many recognized that teen pregnancy is off the charts in the church? How many recognize that crime among young people in the church is up? How many realize over the last 50 years in church history, church attendance is going through the floor. This is according to Barna group, the nation's leading Christian polling agency.

People are leaving an abandoning their churches left and right. Why is that? Does it make sense to you if people are leaving the church left and right and our governmental system is getting worse, does anybody see a proper parallel? There is something wrong. So what I want to propose to you in this article is that we have got to find what the problem is.

Rabbi Paul

By Jim Staley

The answer would be in John 7:33 which say, "Jesus therefore said, yet a while I am with you, and I go to him who sent me". 34 "You will seek me, and does not find me: and where I am, you cannot come."

The response how the disciples are going to give will astound you since they knew something that we don't also, since we don't understand it, we don't recognize the strength of it when He says it. He says it right here in John 7:35, "The Jews therefore said among themselves, Where will this man go that people will not find him? Could he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

Immediately, to teach the Greeks, he is not even referring to going to the pagan gentiles on Sabbath day (http://passionfortruth.com/TheTrueMeaningOfChristmasAndEaster.html) , He says, will they not go to the House of Israel which can be living amongst the Greeks, the Dispersion? Certainly he'd not do that. They are unclean.

Most people that Paul was preaching to were the northern 10 tribes of the home of Israel... The Israelite Gentiles! It's all inside the scriptures; we just have to look harder to find out it and when you see it, you may realize that it's there all along.

Paul says in Romans 9:24 "even us whom He called, not with the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

25 While he says also in Hosea: "I will give them a call My people, who were not My people, and her beloved, who was simply not beloved.

26 Also it shall come to pass in the place wher it absolutely was said to them, 'You are not My people,' there they shall be called sons of the living God." Quote from Hosea 1:10

Rabbi Paul is not pulling verses out of his head then takes them out of context, they know that that Hosea chapter 1 is about the Northern Kingdom that were living between the gentiles and then the place they were called away from covenant and then the very place that he would bring them back and give them a call children of the living God.

Romans 12

Verse 14 "for when Gentiles, that do not have the law, by nature carry out the things in the law, these, while not having the aw, are a law privately,

Verse 15 "who saw the work of the law written in their hearts,"

Paul is a Torah scholar, he is not a Christian. He was a Torah-based Messianic scholar. People called him Christian and that he welcomed that title however the reality is that he was someone who understood the front of the book. He knew the mission of his Messiah.

The Common Myths of the Bible

By Jim Staley

First of all we need to comprehend the common myths. The most popular myths could be that the Jewish people were the actual chosen people in that old Testament. A lot of people spent my childhood years believing that like Used to and even taught that to others. However this is what I used to instruct that the Jewish people were the chosen folks and it was often uncomfortable for me because I did not quite realize when I say the decided on people, what do that mean? The term "chosen people", is he still chosen consumers? And how did that fit in? And imagine if they don't believe in Jesus? But the Jewish folks are chosen, or if we ever just ignore which subject in religious organization. We don't want to touch that with a 10 foot pole, we intend to touch that one on this page.

Another common fantasy is that the Torah and the Legislation was given to the Jews. That is certainly another belief which will drastically change how we read your bible. These myths are being promoted by the opponent for almost 2000 years.

Another one is that the Passover which Jesus kept with the other Feast Days of the bible the disciples kept were "Jewish" Feast Days such as the Sabbath day (http://passionfortruth.com) . This is the single most important thing that people will tell myself when I say "hey man, I enjoy the feast days and nights, I have been keeping these for a few years now, that they revolutionized my family's existence, I don't even know how I existed without them, and they are that unbelievable, all are about the Messiah." They are saying, you are keeping individuals, those are Jewish holidays. I realize you also heard in which at least once in your lifetime.

They are Jewish holidays right. Well, genuine or not true, we're going to find out in this article.

Thus let me ask you a question that is around the heels of this problem, "How many tribes were at the base of Mt. Sinai if the commandments were given? " All 14 Tribes! Next question plausible to be asked is the place many were Jewish? One tribe! 1 tribe was Jewish which begs the particular question, where are the other ones? If they were directed at all of Israel, all the 12 tribes, then they can't possibly be Jewish or that is simply not fair. The Jewish people cannot own the holidays because they are only one tribe. Here are each of the tribes that are out here: Asher, Issachar, Simeon, Levi, Gad, Reuben, Judah, and Joseph.

Facts About Cremation Or Funeral

By Alan Redman

A cremation or funeral rite is a decision that people think about everyday. In todays world burning is accepted as a form of burial. This is because of problems that have come with a bulging world population. A funeral is essentially burying the body of a deceased person six feet underground. It is accepted widely all over the world and many societies embraces it. Burials have been carried out everyday since man recognized the need for a decent send off for their loved ones.

Many people prefer burials to crematoriums. This is because the second option has not gained wide acceptance all over the world. It was seen as an elitist way of a send off, others see it as a downright nasty way to send off a loved one.

In some places the buried are buried with their belongings. Other places the deceased is buried with nothing not even clothing. There are places where the dead is sent off with weapons to fight off the demons in the after life.

This is where a crematorium comes into the picture. It is a cheaper alternative to the other traditional method of send off. One will most likely have to pay about six thousand dollars when one wants a decent burial ceremony. This cost may be cut by up to three quarters when one is using a crematorium.

On the other hand countries in Europe and Africa have not embraced crematoriums. In Africa it is seen as taboo to burn a body to ashes. They see it as an insult to the higher powers and believe that the body will arrive in paradise burnt and undesirable.

If burning is not carried out these people believe that the body will not be transferred to the next world. Though many civilizations and traditional people prohibit it or have reservations about it, they are slowly accepting the practice. Burning of a deceased persons body is becoming more and more popular in todays world.

The burning of ones body does not dispose the whole body. There are some ashes that remain which the bereaved keep as a token or reminder of their loved one. The ashes are kept in special containers called urns.

There have been problems in recent times that have made people not so keen on burials. Top of the list is the space for a good funeral ground is quite expensive and difficult to get. This has made people think more about cremation or funeral.

When Needing A Private Investigator Massachusetts Can Help

By Rhoda Ellison

When looking for a private investigator Massachusetts (http://www.privateinvetigatormassachusetts.com) is the place where professional will be found. A private investigator is not a policeman. He or she does not have the legal right to enter private property and can not obtain a warrant for such. They do not have the ability to arrest those breaking the law. They do however posses the ability to find information that others may not. A good PI is a real detective when it comes to finding hidden information. Always make sure to hire the person who is qualified and licensed.

It is important in today's world for people to know who they are getting involved with. Some people are very trusting and take a strangers word at face value. Often they pay dearly for this bad choice.

There is a responsibility that comes along with making a new friend or acquaintance. Most of us will take the time to get to know a person before allowing them near our homes and families. This is a great start, but not always enough. The fact is that those who want to scam others are very good at what they do. They know all the moves when it comes to getting a 'mark' to trust and believe in them. After all, this is how they earn their living...

Starting up a business is an exciting time. It is also the time to cross the ts and dot the i's. Some mistakes can be quite costly. Better safe than sorry. Always investigate first.

One of the most important decisions that working parents will ever make is who will watch the children. Finding the right match in an individual who is available when needed is difficult enough, but this is not enough information. Those who have known little about the nanny or babysitter's past have many times payed dearly for this lack off information. Always investigate all child care workers, whether in the home or outside.

Infidelity and divorce rates are unfortunately quite high in the U. S. And many other countries. Often a spouse will have a hunch that something is going on, but courts require proof not hunches. Not to mention the moral responsibility of not accusing a person without proof. Figuring out this type of a situation is too complicated for most people. Astrotheology As The Birth Of The Modern Church

By Maude Moses

Astrotheology is the worship and a belief based on the heavenly bodies. This worship has been in existence since the ancient time. The fore-founders of the earth in history relied on the sky to base their argument of good happening or doom in their lives. The stars and other heavenly bodies were like the guiding tools for their daily planning.

The nomadic people used nature to carry on their daily activities. The hot-desert sun prevented their movement during the day while the cool night gave them a desirable atmosphere of movement. To understand why some things did happen, they associated the occurrences depending on the way the sky appeared. Such events or happenings included bad omen, signs and potent.

Many calendar years have passed, when the ancient Polynesians astrologist and marine voyagers used the sky to predict climate changes. They did discover the comets, asteroids and other heavenly bodies. With them they studied their behavior in relation to the weather patterns.

This godlike science has been used for a long time to bring about human civilization. The astrology history dates as early as the dawn of man. Astrology is said to be the pointer of astronomy, the heavens investigating science. The east races following early civilization based their beliefs on stars. They did believe that heavenly bodies were the origin and reason of all that happened.

Astrology gave a need for priesthood study. This was witnessed in Egypt and Mesopotamia. Euphrates and Alkado-Sumerians believed in astrology theology as they worshiped the stars. The professional astrologers; Chaldeans (assyro-babylonian) priest, originally worshiped the stars. This holds proof in Zodiac religious symbolism of the oldest cuneiform text.

During the Chaldean time the sun, moon, and five planets differentiated the twelve houses of the Zodiac, this depended on their position and character. Saturn as a planet was viewed as the ruler of heavens and other planet. The Osiris worship was an early form of astrotheology.

Exactly what the Baptists Rely on

By Akisha Hanks

Many churches available today are labeled "Baptist." If you're looking for the one which is Biblical, you should know exactly what a baptist church actually is. This church is made up of band of residents believing firmly and practicing what's been presented inside the Bible.

All Baptists were resulted in the fact the Bible is ideal. They completely accept every word written about it from cover to pay for. The term of God preserved and developed in English may be the King James Bible version.
Baptists only preach and teach what's within the Bible. Every truth and church doctrine rather than books concerning the Bible or extra prayers will be the only ones they preach. They base their belief each part of their Christianity in the Bible. Regardless of how good will be the traditions these folks were born into, they are all excluded.
The Baptists think that the Gospel will be the great news about Jesus Christ. It's to read that to save lots of our sins; Christ died about the cross and was buried. After 72 hours he rose again.
Baptists feel that everybody is born with sin hence are separated from God. They should be born again by just obeying God through faith and in the heart. In addition they think that an individual saved through the grace of God is secure in the care eternally since as soon as you receive your salvation, you can not lose it anymore.
The Baptists also believe that there are heaven and hell but reject purgatory that they can consider contradicts the term of God. It really is designed in the scriptures that Jesus promised a location in heaven for many who follows Him. If an individual will not accept Jesus Christ and just trusts in the religion, it is hard for him to go in heaven and can head to hell instead.
All Baptists, perhaps the individuals independent fundamental Baptist; guess that if someone is saved, baptism is completed by fully immersing him in water. Baptism for them is obedience to God's word but will not guarantee salvation.
They also feel that Jesus Christ is arriving again and can rule over-all forever.
When it really is contrary to God's word, they just don't accept other experiences because the devil has the strength to complete miracles.
They also have confidence in the Trinity, one God in three equal Persons, God the Father, the son that is Christ Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit.
They also reject the action of worshiping other beings like Mary, the saints, as well as other religious objects.
They also trust that born-again believers are equal within the sight of God and every you've got immediate access to God.
Christian life entails obeying completely the commands of God.

Using this, we arrive at conclude that Baptists, just like the people in baptist church Lexington are followers of Christ who rely on the Bible plus they are neither Catholics nor Protestants.

You have the capability to transform a terrible day

By Debra Stangl

How does one change things around when you are having an appalling day? Scientists, psychological specialists , as well as alternative thinkers are demonstrating continually the perils of staying in an irritated mood (raised cortisol, elevated blood pressure, extra work needed by the heart and nerve system) and the importance of what the Institute of HeartMath calls "staying in coherence".

2 days gone all sorts of things were going on and I felt funky and gunky. I determined to just leave the office (fortunately I did not have any appointments or sessions) and I went home and told myself, "Debra, you know how to pull yourself out of this". It worked, and I ended up having a wonderful day, so I wanted to share a few of these ideas with you.

1) Breathe. Go somewhere (your auto or lavatory) and take some really deep breaths. Target your heart and feel as if the breath is coming from your heart. After 10 deep breaths, you'll be surprised how much better you feel.

2) Wring you Hands. This sounds a little crazy, it works. If you are upset, particularly if you're irritated, actually wring your hands! This is based upon Chinese medicine - the energy meridians all meet in the hands so wringing them actually moves the energy. This is the one which truly worked for me yesterday.

3) Have a good cry! A good cry will release suppressed emotions. (Just do not do it in the middle of a crucial meeting).

4) Blast those tunes. Find your best pump up music and blast it in the car. Dance or sing at the very top of your lungs. Moving your body moves your energy.

5) Think about something that makes you happy, like your youngsters, your dog, your kitty or the last superb holiday you took. Close your peepers and get that vision and think about it.

6) Be grateful that it's not worse. Almost all of what throws me off in the daytime is not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. Isn't it true that many people in the world have it far worse off than you? As speedily as possible , go into gratitude for everything glorious in your life.

Here's some good things worth doing to prevent bad days from going down in the first place:

1) Get enough sleep. So many studies out there are showing what a huge difference sleep makes for us, not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. How many hours do you need? 8? 7? 6? You know what your number is, so make the decision to make that happen.

2) Take a little time to take care of you. Relax a bit. Make yourself a hot bubble bath and add a little aromatherapy with the relaxing scent of lavender. Or come up with some other straightforward thing that feels mouth-watering to you.

3) As Scarlett O'Hara would say, "Tomorrow is another day". As you drop off, remind yourself of that, and set your objectives for a wonderful day tomorrow.

4) Wake up on the right side of the bed. Before you get up and hit the shower, shut your eyes and repeat "this will be a great day" three times. The key is believing it when you are saying it!

5) Realize we are spiritual beings and maybe it is time to reconnect with your spirituality (http://sedonasouladventures.com/whats-your-situation/help-im-at-the-end-of-my-rope/) .

Print this list and keep it with you in some place where it'll be available to you when you are beginning to feel yourself slide.

Have you got things which you do to help in making a shift when you are having an appalling day?

Looking Deeper to the True Meaning of Hell

By Kevin Vaughn

In midsummer of 1878, several hundred enthusiastic Christian ministers and lay people gathered in a hospital in Clifton Springs, Ny, for a week of Bible conference. The founder of the hospital, a Methodist layman named Dr. Henry Foster, had erected a 50x80 foot tabernacle that seated about 650 people. Dr. Foster invited missionaries, teachers, pastors, and evangelists in which to stay the hospital facilities free of charge for the purpose of rest and relaxation, and to use the tabernacle for Christian services.

The Christians who conducted the Bible conference during the summer time of 1878 were known as the Believers' Meeting for Bible Study. (1) They continued to fulfill at Clifton Springs for two more years, but eventually held their annual meetings at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, and became better known as the Niagara Bible Conference. Some historians consider the Niagara Bible Conference, and the First and Second American Bible and Prophecy Conferences which it spawned, to be the primary sources from where the American fundamentalist and premillennial evangelical movements came. (2)

Unfortunately, the Bible conference at Clifton Springs in 1878 was a bit of a disappointment to the leaders. Among other reasons, "there were those hanging upon the outskirts who didn't have sympathy with the objects with the meeting, and there was danger of controversy, which always grieves the Holy Ghost." (3) Postmillennialists and annihilationists had apparently caused the controversy. So in the following months, the Believers' Meeting for Bible Study adopted a fourteen-point confession of faith, later called the Niagara Creed, as a basis for their meetings. (4) Significant because of this study of annihilationism is Article 13 with the Niagara Creed. It reads,

We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do at death immediately pass into His presence, where there remain in conscious bliss before resurrection of the body at His coming, when soul and the entire body reunited shall be associated with Him forever inside the glory; but the souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery before final judgment of the great white throne at the close of the millennium, when soul and body reunited shall be cast into the lake of fire, to not be annihilated, but to be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and in the glory of his power: Luke 16:19-26; 23:43; 2 Cor. 5:8; Phil. 1:23; 2 Thess. 1:7-9; Jude 6-7; Rev. 20:11-15. (5)

In a of his reports from the 1878 meeting, Niagara's president, James H. Brookes, offers a summary of the 23 minutes in hell (http://www.sharejesustoday.com/blog/23-minutes-in-hell-by-bill-wiese) and concludes with this admonition to those who might want to be involved in future conferences:

Such briefly is the simple ground on which we meet, and any who accept it are welcome to attend. If they do not stand upon it, but choose to attend, they are likely to keep silent. We do not deny the right of those who hold what are known as "annihilation views," to gather when and where they please; but we all do deny their right to thrust these views upon a conference that rejects their dangerous errors. (6)

For your leaders of this historic Bible Conference, annihilationism was considered such a "dangerous" doctrinal error that it excluded its adherents from participation with them.

Were these nineteenth-century evangelicals justified inside their fear of annihilationism? In recent years a renewed effort has arisen among some who call themselves evangelicals to reassert the doctrine of annihilationism-that the wicked who reject Christ do not possess to spend eternity in hell, but as time passes of suffering will be annihilated. This can be somewhat puzzling in light of the numerous Scriptures that teach the eternal punishment from the wicked in hell. (7) "If exegesis will be the final factor," writes John Walvoord, "eternal punishment may be the only proper conclusion; taken at its face value, the Bible teaches eternal punishment." (8)

It's the purpose of this paper, therefore, to indicate by a survey of the doctrinal categories that annihilationists often arrived at the Scriptures with cultural and theological preunderstandings that negate the historical-grammatical meaning of the passages. The result is, in fact, a multi-faceted compromise of a biblical systematic theology that infects most of the major doctrines of the Christian faith. (9)

Why Consider Cremation Oakland Services

By Lydia Carney

Cremation Oakland (http://www.chapelofthechimesoakland.com) is done a sign of respect for the dead person. This is because more and more people are stating in their final will that they would like to be cremated. This final will should be fulfilled by the living family members as a sign of respect to the dead person. It is important to fulfill the dying wishes of any person.

The services are mainly done by funeral homes. This are places where the body was first taken after the person passed away. All one has to do is instruct them and they will do it for you. It is a simple process that only takes a couple of hours to fully complete.

The cost associated with the process is small. It can definitely not be compared with that of conducting a full burial. This is a cost that the bereaved family has to take care of. It is however not that expensive. This is considering the fact that you will be honoring the dead persons wishes.

The local directories also make finding these services easy. This is because all one has to do is go through the yellow pages. Anyone who knows how to use the telephone directories will get the results very easily. This is because the telephone companies provide a list of results for their subscribers.

Integrity is important in any profession. This can be compared with professionalism. Without these two, things would be a mess. They are responsible for ensuring sanity in any given field regardless of what that particular field deals with. Without them, a lot of things would go wrong from time to time.

Cremation Oakland has benefited from technology. This is because the new furnaces are well equipped and have high temperatures. This reduces the total time required for cremation considerably.

Forgiveness Makes People Happy

By Holly L Wilson

Forgiveness has positive consequences not just for the life after death but also for one's life now. Forgiveness results in happiness. It leads to a fulfilled life. Forgiveness eliminates emotions of anger, hatred, and antagonism and results in emotions of peace, gratitude and joy instead. Such emotions leave us contented. Emotions of anger, hatred, and antagonism leave us feeling unhappy and distressed. So forgiveness has positive consequences for this life

Jesus taught his apostles how to pray and the "Our Father" comprised the words: "forgive us our debts as we have forgiven our debtors" (Matt 6:12). He went on to say that if they failed to forgive others, then they also would not be forgiven. If they did not forgive, they would not be given admittance into heaven. Still, doesn't it make sense to say that not forgiving also causes unhappiness in this life? Reflect on the case of a person who refuses to forgive. They begrudge forgiveness, and since they do, they continue to be angry that some harm as occurred. They go on to cultivate their anger and repeat over and over the harm that someone has done. They feel like a victim. They must also maintain the emotion of hostility toward the person who occasioned the hurt, until they are able to revenge themselves. Getting revenge may not even be an option, and so they are not able to get justice and experience frustration in addition to anger.

I have a relative who was kicked out of his home when he was an adolescent just after his father passed away. His step-mother used her lawyer to shove him out the door. Even though things worked out for him because he was able to stay with his married sister, he maintained hatred toward the attorney who gave him the news. After he had returned from the service, he happened to pass this attorney on the street and immediately hit him and put him down a manhole to retaliate. Even though an officer of the law was there to see this, he allowed this out of pity for my relative's hurt. My relative loves to repeat this story since it shows how he got justice. But getting justice was not always the result of the harms he endured in his life. He developed a habit of holding grudges against others whom he feel made him into a victim. He never sees himself as someone who harms others since he always feels justified in his anger. Still he is a very unhappy human being who doesn't have any
friends because he thinks he is better than other people.

On the contrary, my mother, who experienced the same thing when she was a girl, responded with forgiveness. She didn't hold onto a grudge and didn't develop a habit of responding to slights with anger with grudge holding. She was grateful that her sister had taken her in and had helped pay for her college. She decided to be grateful while her brother chose to be resentful. She now has many friends, gets along with people, and has empathy for others who also suffer. As a result, she has peace of mind and experiences joy knowing that she is forgiven by God for any of her failings.

Jesus required that people forgive others and unforgiveness is not an option for Christians. Still forgiving others and showing them mercy is not easy. This is helpful advice I received from my friend Steve Brown of Key Life. When it isn't easy to forgive, you can admit to God how you really feel and that you don't feel like forgiving. Then ask him to make it a contract with you to change your disposition, and give it up to him. Forgiving doesn't then happen immediately, but gradually by being faithful in prayer for the person, your disposition will become one of compassion. The emotions of hurt and resentment gradually fade away. The feelings of victimization disappear and the rage turns into an honest evaluation of other person while a more accurate picture of the hurt emerges. We often think we are harmed more than we really are. In the end, it is possible to watch God turn what appears as bad thing into something good. After awhile, peaceful and joyous feelings replace
the anger and you will think something good rather than bad has happened to you. This results in happiness.
