The Aquarian Gospel Of Jesus Christ

By Cheri Knowles

The Akashic Records are said to contain the 'Book of God's Remembrance', a history of everything that has ever happened. They are inscribed on tiny disc-shaped plates that are smaller than atoms. They are accessible, through fasting and meditation, to those who are able to tune in to their frequencies. It was through the Akashic Records that Levi H Dowling was inspired to write the Aquarian Gospel in 1911.

While Levi's account roughly parallels the conventional four Gospels of the Bible, what they add is the 'missing' twenty years between Jesus' adolescence and his early thirties. Levi documents His ministries in Egypt, Persia, Assyria, Greece and India.

There are some surprising references. Chapter 33, Verse 9, claims that God never created heaven or hell and that we all make our own right here on Earth. This was allegedly said by Jesus, Himself.

There are some familiar stories. In Chapter 124, Jesus feeds the 5,000 with five loaves and two fishes, with 12 baskets left over. Here, he walks on water, as does the disciple, Peter, until he loses faith and gets wet. As in the Bible, Peter is rescued by Jesus.

The story ends on ground that is familiar to students of the Bible, in Jerusalem. In John 14, Verse 26, Jesus speaks of a Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom God will send to help us remember Him and His teachings. According to Dowling, however, Chapter 162, verses 35 to 37 refer to this Helper as 'she'. The female Comforter is mentioned again in the following chapter of Dowling's writing.

The key milestones are a good fit with what we already know. Jesus is denied by Peter, betrayed by Judas, passed from Pilate to Caiphas like a hot potato, crucified, buried and resurrected. He rematerializes to his followers, except in the aquarian gospel he reappears to his followers in several different countries. After the ascension comes the formation of the Christian Church. It is a fascinating read, and readily available for free over the internet.
