Daily Word: Here's Why We Desire Experience

By Pablo Perez

"I'm leaving for Kenya, Africa... in 2 hours"

She couldn't imagine my news and to be honest on thatTuesday early in the morning I was not thinking in going overseas at all. Egypt and Mexico felt more than enough for any month (so I was thinking). However close to eleven o'clock, as I was reading an ebook, sipping my 2nd cappuccino and vividly picturing the unwinding days forward, a thunderous message appeared and shattered the morning in two:

Are you able to travel to Kenya tomorrow?

The message came from Jono Hall, director of the Forerunner Media Shool at the International House of Prayer of Kansas City. Graeme Spencer (head of production for God TV)enteredthe conversation from Washington DC and asked about if I could lead worship in Kenya, that Thursday. After like 20 seconds of significant considering, I ended drinking my coffee and wrote a undecided yes.

That afternoon, I pulled the plane boarding pass from my iphone and took flights for Chicago and Heathrow (London) where I joined the worn out but warm and friendly God TV crew. We ate a snack and entered British Airlines flight 879 for Nairobi, Kenya. It had been Wednesday nighttime, after i finally got to The continent of africa.

With simply 3 hours of sleep, I jumped in to a compact rented bus on the way for 'mountain base'. This excellent ride provided 45 minutes of safari driving with a few good old British talk (try that after you've jet lag).

Reaching the top of the hills the morning felt envigorating: the fresh aroma in the wild, the sun-drenched colors all over it looked like nature dancing. Backstage, a corn country field transition into stunning hillsides that ended on crystalinea skies. Simply amazing; creation at his best (with a divine touch) the Watoto children choir of Uganda shaking the complete stage.

For pretty much six lengthy hours we worshiped and broadcast unrehearsed (live TV) to the countries. Definitely wearing, but totally unforgettable!

At sunset, most of us left mountain base and drove back to the hotel (through crazy difficult roads you've not noticed in the very best movies). Hours later, I kissed Africa adios, changed a number of planes in Europe making it it back to Kansas City, on Friday (for dinner).

Now, that's something I label "ministry on steroids"a fascinating kingdom voyage, the adrenaline rush of traversing continents in 24 hours, feeling the influence of God's presence over your soul, along with the superb delight of an extraordinary experience.

Discovering the Secret of the Captivating Word

The segment above includes a gripping and captivating word. To get perfectly honest, I shared my journey Kenya to focus on the need for that word. I promise: knowing the word will help you decode the cravings of your soul and identify the reason for much of your triumph and downfalls.

Picture yourself inside a place where magnificence, unforgettable trips and exhilarating adventures transpire every day. Envision an existence in which monotony is gone away and fascination is the dominating sensation of your soul.

Let's say you could like a constant story, inside a world in which love and eternity continuously take your oxygen away?

Here's one thing not enough people comprehend: deeply inside our hearts we crave and yearn for experience. All people desire to "experience". It is definitely not "things", "status" and "success" we want, it is the experience those ideas provide we're after, the way they make us feel within.

I have significantly more to teach about this matter, but this post is already lengthy... don't worry... we'll meet again.
