Looking through the book Matthew, you immediately see that Christ has made his points clearly. He declares that he is coming back and the entire even it not a secret; it is a promise. The book of Revelation 1:7 perfectly declares God's message. The verse states, "Look, He is coming with the clouds and every eye will see him." Not only will everyone notice Christ coming, it becomes self-evident that He is definitely coming.

Note that Christ also knew that nations, kingdoms, and empires would want to rise up against each other and take what they could not have from one another. He also mentioned that the Earth would have to deal with weather changes such as earthquakes. Famines would erupt and cease nations, destruction would run rampant, children would refuse to listen to parents, become ungrateful, selfish, and all of it would increase gradually.
Indicator number four, Christ clearly states is being persecuted because you worship Him. This has been present throughout History and continues today. In China and Saudi Arabia, you can easily be jailed because of your Christianity. American Civil Liberties are quickly attempting to get rid of Christianity by taking the Christ out of Christmas (X-MAS)and threatening to take the word out of the public's eye.
These are numerous indicators that Jesus shall return. The most important aspect of God's return is to understand that no one knows the hour, date, or time when He shall descend.
