With discussions stemming from controversial topics such as same-sex marriage, abortion, the fair tax, social security, and education reform, the 2008 election is sure to be one of the most critical elections in history. As the time to cast your ballot swiftly approaches, I thought it only fitting to offer some spiritual insight to consider when electing the next generation of political leaders.
First and foremost, as Christians, seeking the will of God must be our primary priority. Of course we rely on prayer; however, along with prayer you must do your research so you can make an informed decision. However, remember that research only gives you the facts, and facts are subject to change. The Word of God is truth, and it says that we should acknowledge Him in all our ways and allow Him to direct our paths. So after we've gathered the facts, we've got to be diligent in seeking God-and let Him direct us on voting for the candidate that is part of His will for this country.christian apparel (http://gsustained.com)
Fortunately, Jesus' redemptive work on the cross of Calvary made provision for all who would receive Him as their Lord and Savior. This means where poverty once reigned, prosperity is now available for everyone who receives it by faith. Separation from God was the inevitable spiritual state of mankind prior to Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, but through Him we have been brought back into fellowship with the Father. Prayer is our secret weapon of power. It's how we get results. I truly believe when we stop fault-finding and complaining, and start praying, we'll see the hand of God move in our government. The Bible says the heart of the king is in God's hand. No matter what it seems like, God rules this nation; there is no authority in place, except that ordained by Him. So as Christians, we've got to get back to the point of trusting God, not man!
This sort of speech turns on the death cycle and connects you to the very thing you do not want to happen. If you want to experience health or success in any area of your life, you must make the decision to turn on the life cycle, by searching the scriptures and declaring what the Word says about you. God's Word produces life (Joshua 1:8)!
