In Mark 16:17-18 (AMP), Jesus says, "And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; they will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well. " You have dominion over the enemy! That was one of the benefits that was purchased for you on Calvary.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead resides in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). When you accepted Jesus as your Lord, you were adopted into God's family; resurrection power was imparted to your spirit. It is now up to you to draw that power out.
You show your true feelings when you say things like, "Why am I going through this?" or "I don't deserve to go through this. I sowed a seed on Sunday." You are blaming God for what is happening in your life. If you continue to talk this way, you'll eventually sever your faith connection altogether. You have to stop listening to the stack of bills that continually say, "I'm growing everyday." Instead, tune into the Word that says wealth and riches shall be in your house (Psalm 112:3).
