There are a lot of churches telling their congregation to come as they are and for some churches, people do come without bothering to even get dressed. The practice is very common in a naked church where people find comfort in worshiping with total freedom and equality. There are many reasons as to why people continue on with the practice and understanding each of these will perhaps help others understand nudists a whole lot better.
Many nudists have been bashed by people who have no idea what nudism really is about. Misunderstandings can exist between nudist communities and the law enforcement, government, strangers and even friends or family. Though many community members attempt to explain themselves, most are pushed to a corner without finding any information source that can support their views.
Nudists are known to have righteous beliefs why they choose to do what they are doing. The most basic perhaps, is knowing there is nothing shameful with the naked body. Lewdness should not automatically be attached to the idea of nudity and that sexual components even with mixed companies do not necessarily come with nakedness. Amidst slight variations, people are all the same and should not hide underneath clothes.
Majority of nudists do not impose their beliefs to non-nudists. All they actually want is understanding from the general community. They do not endorse sexual activities at events nor are they exhibitionists. They believe in how social nudity promotes acceptance of body image.
Regardless of your sex, physical appearance, sex, religion and handicaps, you will be accepted in a nudist church. Members are not completely closed to the thought of wearing clothes either. They can do so as a means of protection from harmful elements as with low temperatures.
Members typically believe that clothes must be worn not as a mandatory activity but by choice. Such belief contrasts with the past generation mandating women not to allow their arms and legs to be fully exposed and should instead be covered. The present beliefs are more focused on people enjoying the freedom of wearing or not wearing clothes.
Most churches do cursory background checking on people who wish to join their club events. Larger groups often spend a lot of time as well as money doing detailed investigations for applicants. They also maintain blacklists for individuals who are prohibited from joining group activities.
Naked church communities maintain guidelines for how members should behave. Monitoring of activities along with reporting of misconducts will be left in the care of fellow members or guests. Those who are found in continuous violation of the set rules will be enlisted in the blacklist.
