Shalom is peace in English. You cannot have peace in your life should you don't have faith. This why James says "show me your trust without works and I'll explain to you my faith by what I really do because my Shalom is not built into" because once we say Shalom, what are we thinking?
Shalom is sitting back and our arms crossed, it's type of relaxing, got a soda in our hand, watching the ballgame, that's shalom, it's peace! Shalom according to the scriptures is doing what the Creator asks you to do understanding that everything that the results happen arises from Him.
So it doesn't matter, by visiting work, you are working for Him, once you give in the offering, you're giving to Him. Exactly what you do whether you speak to your spouse or whether you bless your young ones, it's Emunah because the results are not yours.
You I got into a conversation with somebody while we're talking about giving in the offering and they were giving at their local congregation and when they found out the pastor had done something bad and what did they do? They stopped giving! Now I wish to challenge that I mean I would have done the same thing but note that is not a biblical concept because that means that you're giving to the man.
That person was giving to the man, wasn't giving to God because you don't pull away your sheep from the kingdom since you don't like something that's said, since you don't like the way somebody acted, who're you to threaten God with what His providing you with? Is this making sense?
Unfortunately, this is what we do. We would hold what we should have been commanded to give to forward His kingdom because we're in control. Wait a minute, I thought the Levites with Hebrew Roots, these folks were required to get 10 percent, and so they didn't care if the guy was a grouch when they brought their sheep. They still were required to give it.
It's not your problem when you and it is misused, is it? As you gave it to Him, you gave it to Him. Emunah just isn't concerned with the results; Emunah is just focused on just the action of serving.
