Shri Radhe Maa is a religious Lord Shiva and Devi Mata devotee born in a small town in Dorangla, Punjab. Radhe Maa's spiritual journey started at an age where other girls were played with toys and dollhouses.
When she turned 18, Radhe Maa's parents married her off to Mohan Singh, a prosperous businessman residing in Mukerian, Punjab. This marriage proved to be a turning point in her life towards spirituality. During a visit to an ancient Lord Shiva temple in Mukerian, she met Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Ramdeen Das (139-years-old at the time of his death in 2009 according government records), a highly acclaimed saint which turned her spiritual life around.
"Chandi (a fierce form of the Devi) has graced this temple today," said the Mahant. From that day onwards, Mamtamai Shri Guru Maa began to visit the temple every day and offer worship to Lord Shiva.
While attending to household chores that were part of her duties, she continued her tryst with spiritual devotion. Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa's sensitive, kind, generous and resplendent personality attracted numerous devotees to her.
Her devotees requested her to hold satsangs, jagrans, pujas and other religious services in and around their vicinity. She responded by graciously throwing her doors open to all who wished to attend. Several families credited the jagrans with solving their personal, financial, familial and professional problems.
As Shri Radhe Maa's word spread, families and individuals invited her to their homes in the hope that her divine presence would bless their lives for the good. Her teachings revolve around the principle of surrendering oneself to God, and regular bhakti in the form of ritualistic worship and devotional chanting of the names of the Hindu deities Lord Shiva and Devi Mata. The food served at her gatherings, the musical performances and the Darshans are free.
